Job Summary: Lake Ripley Elementary seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional
Schedule: Generally 6-6.5 hours a day hours per day.
Qualifications: Successful completion of the ParaEducator test or a 2 or a 4 year degree
Essential Functions:
To help the teacher(s) reinforce skills and strategies in all subject areas and improve student performance
Inspire students to think creatively, critically, and innovatively
Support students in the learning process through the use of 21st century skills such as innovation, creativity, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, ethical decision-making, collaboration, teamwork, time management, empathy, and leadership
Provide 1:1 assistance in academics, and offer behavioral, and vocational support.
Accept direction from supervising teacher(s) and administrators.
Litchfield I.S.D. 465 is located 1 hour west of the Twin Cities Metro Area and is a member of the Wright County Conference. We are also a 1:1 Apple school with all students and teachers having Macbooks/iPads for educational purposes.
