  • The I&C BP will support the I&C team in engaging with market teams at critical points in global projects, ensuring relevance and prioritisation of support, to maximise opportunities for impactful delivery. They will gather examples of best practice and share these across the markets, harvesting stories and successes, encouraging innovation, and embedding a hyper-localised approach.

You will be familiar with the latest thinking, challenges and opportunities in relation to social impact and will bring a pragmatic, insight led, solution focused approach to your work. You will bring creative thinking, aligned to our values and behaviours.
  • Partnering with the I&C team and the Heads of Comms to act as a connection point or conduit for all I&C activity, ensuring early engagement, prioritisation of support and enabling local planning.
  • Working with Heads of Comms and local market teams to harvest examples of best practice; driving powerful storytelling aligned to our company narrative, informing future campaigns and plans, and enabling sharing across markets.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders including Buying, Merchandising and Design, Retail Leadership, In-Country People & Culture (P&C) Team, and Retail Teams, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of I&C campaigns.
  • Working closely with the I&C team, Heads of Comms, Public Affairs, Brand, Customer, Social, Digital, Country Leaders and Heads of P&C in all markets to agree priorities, goals, and measures of success.
  • Helping us to tell the Primark I&C story through internal and external communication, by partnering with Corporate Affairs and Customer functions, overseeing the synergies in messaging, finding opportunities for creative storytelling, ensuring internal and external playback and reporting.
  • Partnering with our Corporate Affairs, Customer and Buying, Merchandising and Design teams on upcoming trends, I&C product ranges and campaigns and relevant proactive / reactive communications.
  • Keeping up to date with external developments, research and best practice in order to enable our progress and support ongoing learning within the business.
