About the Role:

The full-time LTSR Therapist plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to individuals in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) setting. This position focuses on enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of clients through individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. The therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs, develop appropriate strategies, and monitor progress. By fostering a supportive environment, the LTSR Therapist aims to empower clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Ultimately, this role is vital in facilitating recovery and promoting independence among individuals with mental health challenges. Work hours may include day, evening, and weekend hours to conduct group sessions. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in trauma-informed care or similar specialized training.
  • Experience in a structured residential treatment setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and social needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and therapeutic goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
