Description: Under the supervision of the Building Principal and the Building Manager, 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year.
Job Summary: this candidate will manage large quantities of financial data accurately and coordinate receipt, deposit, and recordkeeping of all monies for student fees, fines, activities, and donation collections. Aside from this accounting, the candidate will process and maintain the records for various department purchase orders, budget expenditures, work intricately in the operation of the Main Office. and contribute to District Goals.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent; 3 years of related successful experience to include bookkeeping and/or accounting-related courses OR two years of college and two years of related successful experience; demonstrated strong interpersonal/communication skills; knowledge of and demonstrated skill in computers, calculators, preparation of spreadsheets and data entry; ability to speak and comprehend sufficiently to give and receive information in face-to-face and telephone contact; sufficient manual and physical dexterity to complete the accounting tasks.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with State of Ohio School Accounting software; experience with Excel spreadsheets/worksheets.
