We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team at the Salt Lake City International Airport rental counter. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the airport rental counter with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Guide customers through the rental process, clearly explaining terms, options, and procedures.
- Upsell vehicle upgrades, insurance packages, fuel plans, and other value-added services to maximize revenue per transaction.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team-based sales and service goals.
- Accurately process rental agreements, customer information, and payment details using internal systems.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our vehicle fleet, promotions, and pricing to support effective sales conversations.
- Assist with vehicle check-ins and returns as needed during peak times.
Requirements
- 1–2 years sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive abilities and comfort discussing pricing and optional services.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, airport-based environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus).
