Major Duties

Approves and verifies the accuracy of benefit payment from retirement and life insurance plans following plan policy and procedures. Approves/verifies the accuracy of deposits/redeposits in the pension plan.
Provides level 4 (expert) support to all Benefit Technician I positions for solving issues or disputes pertaining to benefit policy and procedure matters.
Maintains employee benefit records. Coordinates payments with outside vendors. Administers the portability policy related to retirement.
Verifies that the eBenefits and payroll system collects the appropriate contributions/premiums for each benefit plan.
Assists with the development of benefit training and performs miscellaneous other duties relating to benefits.
Performs other duties as assigned.
