We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reconciliation Assistant to support our Finance team with credit card and expense reconciliation. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in finance, accounting, or business operations.
This is a remote position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week. Please note: the first month will be dedicated to training in office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reconcile company credit card transactions with receipts and supporting documentation
- Track and report missing or incomplete expense submissions
- Enter and verify data in accounting and expense management systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely reconciliation and accurate reporting
- Support the monthly closing process by preparing reconciliation summaries
- Assist with documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Flag discrepancies or irregularities for investigation
Qualifications:
- Interest in or working toward a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
