The Florida Panthers enter the 2025-26 season as the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, having gone to the Stanley Cup Final in each of the past three seasons. The National Hockey League’s southernmost team, the Panthers have reached the postseason in a club-record six consecutive campaigns. The Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, the new state-of-the-art practice facility Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale, as well as the renovated War Memorial Auditorium, which hosts concerts and events for the South Florida faithful.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Ticket Operations will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for improving operational efficiencies and experiences for Amerant Bank Arena patrons.

Primary responsibilities include fulfilling orders promptly, processing requests accurately, communicating across departments effectively, assisting in seamless ticket operations during events, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, familiar with ticketing systems, has a strong work ethic, and a passion for contributing to a successful ticketing department.

The Coordinator will share responsibility of maintaining strong relationships with patrons, partners, venue staff, and executives in a manner that elevates customer service standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide on-site support during events and games to department members and box office staff
  • Assist with maintenance of all accounts including but not limited to: accounts financial details, seat relocations, seat and ticket upgrade requests, editing of account information accurately while adhering to policies and procedures
  • Process ticket orders and requests for both the Florida Panthers and 3rd Party Events
  • Responsible for gaining and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of our ticketing system and other platforms to
    • Assist sales department with orders and questions
    • Provide excellent customer service to fans
    • Troubleshoot client issues
  • Hire, train, and manage the part-time box office staff
  • Coordinate effective collaboration with designated departments including ticket sales & service, marketing, venue operations, corporate partnerships, business intelligence and strategy & insights regarding the overall coordination and impact of ticket operations
  • Support the Manager, Director, and VP with execution of daily operations and administration of department
  • Formulate and complete special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Successfully able to master new technology quickly
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by representing the organization and department professionally
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a high functioning team
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Prior utilization of a ticketing system experience preferred
  • Experience in sports and/or entertainment industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent preferred

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
