Hybrid Technical Buyer presso MANTECH

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Buyer to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and technical teams to identify procurement needs and specificationsSource and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedulesIssue requests for quotes (RFQs), evaluate bids, and generate purchase orders in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulationsMaintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure audit readinessMonitor supplier performance, address issues with quality, delivery, or complianceManage the procurement lifecycle for both direct and indirect materials and servicesEnsure all purchases are compliant with company policies, government regulations, and contract requirementsAssist in developing and improving procurement procedures and supplier management strategiesMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of technical procurement experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degreeUnderstanding of suppliers and technical specificationsKnowledge of FAR/DFARS and experience in DoD/government contractingProficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or similar ERP systems)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of procurement regulationsClearance Requirements:Must be US Citizen with an Active Secret Security ClearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Candidarsi ora
