Job Posting: Ice Arena Custodian (Seasonal, Part-Time)
Location: Osseo Area Schools – ISD 279
Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (October 1, 2025 – March 25, 2026)
Bargaining Unit: Custodial
Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour
Work Schedule: Primarily evenings and/or weekends; hours may vary based on operational needs
General Purpose of Job
Perform custodial, maintenance, and ice care duties at the ice arena to ensure a clean, safe, and operational facility for all users.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate Zamboni to prepare and maintain ice surfaces
Clean restrooms, lobby, bleachers, and promptly address spills
Maintain exterior grounds, including shoveling snow and removing trash or debris
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to safely operate a Zamboni (training may be provided)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
