The Coordinator will help SPTC meet the USDOT deliverables and reporting requirements in a timely manner. These requirements include data collection, database repositories update, semi-annual progress reports, annual performance indicator reports, and regular communication with the%3Cspan style=%22mso-spacerun:yes;%22%3E %3C/span%3Econsortium partners to ensure continuous progress. The Coordinator will also help expand engagement between the SPTC and tribal and rural communities and governments. Specifically, the individual will lead the effort to formulate and implement an overall strategy to engage with these communities and seek funding to sustain and expand outreach, workforce development, training, and other impactful activities. Because of the integrated nature of transportation problems in rural and tribal communities, this position will likely require working with organizations like the Oklahoma County Commissioners Association (OCCA). The Coordinator will work closely with undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their educational experience through hands-on, real-life projects with tribal and rural community-based industries as part of SPTC%27s Transportation Regional Internship Program, outreach, and technology transfer activities.
