    Performance Responsibilities:
    • Supervise students during their In-School Suspensions.
    • Maintain accurate records.
    • Learn Skyward our student data management system.
    • Communicate with administrators and teachers regarding student assignments.
    • Supervise students as needed that are assigned to our Alternative Education Program.
    • Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, staff and families.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret administrators and teachers directions and follow through with instruction.
    • Ability to assist with supervision of students within the classroom or during arrival and/or dismissal.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and accurately communicate information in a timely manner with supervising teacher, staff and administration.
    • Ability to be a positive role model and consistently follow through with positive behavior supports in all educational settings.
    • Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of licensed teachers and directs family communication to appropriate licensed personnel.
    • Ability to assist with coverage of classes when the teacher or substitutes are not available.
    • Willingness to be a team member that is flexible, open to ongoing professional development and can positively accept change on behalf of student or program improvement.
    • Additional duties which may be assigned by the school principal.
     
    Sick Leave:  7 days sick leave per year, cumulative to 90 days.
     
    Personal Leave:  4 days per year, cumulative to 5 days.  Personnel will not lose unused personal days but will have the days above the maximum transferred to accumulated sick leave days as long as sick days have not reached the maximum.  Employees will report absences through the online absence reporting system stating the reason and necessity of each absence.
     
    Paid Leave Days begin accruing on the 1st day of the month at the rate of 1 day per month following the first 60 working days. For late hires, leave days are prorated based on the percentage of assigned days per job classification per school year.  A year of service consists of a minimum of 120 days.
