Founded in 2018, Constructive Insurance, LLC is committed to providing innovative insurance solutions for clients who invest in single-family residential properties. We are currently looking for a President, Genstone Insurance to join our team.

The President of Genstone Insurance is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining a profitable consumer and commercial insurance business. This leader is accountable for business development, optimizing prospecting efforts, sales, operational processes, the performance and contributions of the people resources supporting the insurance business. The President of Constructive Insurance promotes collaboration with internal colleagues, partnerships with external vendors, and collaborations with agencies, aggregators, and carriers to drive incremental revenue for the company.

The role is responsible for recruiting and developing operational leadership with the goal to hire, train and effectively manage a team of insurance agents in both outside sales and a call center environment.  Responsibilities include developing the strategic roadmap, defining and implementing product strategy, establishing and evaluating pricing/margins, marketing/campaign efforts, commission structures, productivity plans, forecasts, budgets, operational policies and procedures.

As part of strategy development, the position will evaluate the potential for adding new products, partnerships and/or evaluating existing agencies for potential acquisition.

This hands-on role is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day operation with the expectation of achieving productivity and revenue targets, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or commensurate combination of education and experience required. MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience successfully leading corporate insurance teams or independent agencies
  • 10+ years’ direct experience managing people which includes recruiting insurance agents and operational talent, training and scaling teams, and driving performance for both sales and operations
  • Expert knowledge of insurance brokerage operations including claims management
  • Prior, demonstrated experience in vendor or agency management
  • Previous experience developing and effectively managing carrier relationships
  • Experience managing a P&L, establishing budgets and forecasts
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, best practices and related regulatory guidelines
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools and applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Proven ability to handle business development effectively to grow the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate at C-Suite level
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internal and external to the organization to influence and drive required results
  • Strong leadership with proven ability to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Effective management skills include talent selection, training, coaching, mentorship and performance management
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with sound judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility; coupled with recognizing and supporting the organization’s culture, values and priorities
  • Ability to navigate organizational protocols and negotiate for win/win outcomes
  • Innovative thinking with the ability to pivot the organization in response to new business opportunities
  • Able to manage and lead change; agile; high learning agility.
  • Strong execution skills and results orientation; able to link to business needs with tactical execution and results
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to effectively prioritize under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position is $400,000 annually
  • This position is eligible for quarterly incentive
