As a Technical Product Manager, you'll drive the technical direction of our small business lending platform, ensuring that product changes are delivered on time, with quality, and built to scale.

What You’ll Do

• Bridge product vision and technical delivery
  Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications—use cases, API designs, and scalable system flows.
  
• Link technical initiatives to lending outcomes and future growth
  Collaborate to define and implement API-first design, microservices migration, and cloud infrastructure upgrades to enable seamless integrations, faster loan decisioning, and enhanced reliability then partner with Product to build executive-ready business cases for supporting future ambitions
  
• Drive engineering execution & quality
  Work alongside engineering teams during sprint planning and stand-ups. Prioritize technical backlog (features, bug fixes, debt), unblock development, and ensure releases meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
  
• Own technical delivery outcomes
  Ensure production releases are well-architected, performant, and reliable. You’ll manage rollout toggles, QA alignment, and observability. Proactively address technical risks while keeping product goals on track.
  
• Lead integrations & platform operations
  Oversee integrations with credit bureaus, payment systems, and partners—align on API contracts, data flows, system monitoring, and documentation. Ensure seamless data integration and end-to-end observability.
  
• Champion technical excellence & innovation
  Identify areas to reduce technical debt, optimize performance, establish systematic guardrails for technical standards, or introduce new tooling. Stay ahead of fintech trends, evaluate innovations (e.g., GenAI, cloud native), and elevate the platform’s robustness and maintainability.

What Makes You Special

• Expert technical background
  6+ years in technical product or engineering roles—strong familiarity with software architecture, APIs, architectures (microservices, cloud-based). Can converse fluently with engineering on architecture, reliability, and scalability.
  
• Domain knowledge in fintech
  In depth experience in lending systems, credit scoring, financial integrations, or regulated environments. Comfortable balancing business requirements with technical constraints.
  
• Proven product delivery track record
  Led technically complex, multi-phase releases end to end—planning, architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring. Excellent at managing trade-offs between speed, stability, and scalability.
  
• Strong communicators & collaborators
  You speak "tech" and "business" fluently. Skilled at crafting technical PRDs, briefing executive stakeholders, and guiding engineering teams. Great at facilitating technical discussions and keeping cross-functional teams aligned.
  
• Analytical & strategic mindset
  Use metrics and log data to detect technical issues and drive platform improvements. Able to define technical success criteria and adjust direction based on performance or reliability insights.
