Position Duties
Performs various technical and administrative duties for the Treasurer’s Office and provides necessary clerical and administrative support to the Treasurer’s Office and our customers. Ability to operate in a collaborative, busy, and team-based working environment emphasizing customer service and accuracy. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and flexible while adhering to State Laws.
Minimum Qualifications
Accurate typing speed of at least 30 words per minute. Basic accounting skills and the ability to communicate complex, accurate information effectively over the phone, via email, and in person. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. Able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND FORMAL TRAINING:
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capability to learn and use several different software programs.
