Job Qualification:

Education Level                                                 :                 Any Graduate

Experience                                                         :                3+ years

Language Skill                                                   :                Good command of both written and spoken English

Computer Skill                                                   :                Proficient in MS Office

Other Knowledge and Skills                              :                Logical thinking and good Communication Skills

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the company's fleet (owned or outsourced). 
  • Plan and optimize vehicle routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee GPS tracking, telematics, and other fleet management systems.
  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners and transport vendors.
  • Negotiate transport rates, SLAs, and contractual terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to timelines and service quality.
  • Control transport costs and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Analyse data to improve fleet performance, reduce idle time, and increase turnaround time.
  • Ensure vehicles comply with all statutory and safety regulations (RTO, insurance, pollution, etc.).
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols for drivers and fleet operation.
  • Maintain proper documentation (permits, licenses, fitness certificates, etc.). 
  • Supervise drivers and transport staff, including training, discipline, and performance management.
  • Ensure drivers are well-versed with routes, safety practices, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance, costs, downtime, and other KPIs.
  • Use analytics to support decision-making and fleet planning.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of transport operations, route planning, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport management software.
  • Knowledge of applicable transport laws, E-way bill, and regulatory compliance
