Purpose of Role:

As a Provider Services Supervisor, you will oversee the Provider Services unit to ensure program compliance is met according to criteria set by applicable county, state or federal contracts, and CDA policies and procedures.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise, coach, counsel, and evaluate staff to ensure compliance with CDA policies, procedures, rules and regulations; participate in all aspects of hiring, training, scheduling, and measuring of performance.
  2. Coordinate workload priorities to ensure unit goals are accomplished to maintain program standards and compliance; oversee the process, orientation and updating of child care provider information to ensure child care services are authorized on a timely basis; promote quality child care to child care providers.
  3. Contribute to the development of CDA’s policy and procedures by participating in policy discussion and development, working collaboratively with other departments; develop and maintain written policies for provider services processes as well as develop, update and conduct training for staff.
  4. Assist in the development of performance measures; align customer service and compliance operations with CDA’s mission, vision, goals and objectives; communicate the components for evaluating performance of employees and work unit to gain understanding and to promote the achievement of maximum results.
  5. Provide responsive, high-quality service to providers and CDA employees, including representatives of outside agencies and members of the public by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner as necessary.
  6. Represent the Agency and ensure professional and accurate representation at provider focus group meetings, community collaborates, program meetings and events; may present or conduct training to outside agencies.
  7. Schedule and oversee provider services unit audits for quality control.
  8. Participate in on-site and off-site learning opportunities such as workshops, conferences, staff meetings and trainings, coordinate and arrange for special meetings, when required.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned; supports ongoing and special projects, audits, and reports, as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Prefer Associate’s Degree in human services, business, management or related field.
  • One to two years of supervisory skills preferred.
  • Case management experience.
  • Certification of good DMV record. Valid auto registration and insurance. Position may require occasional driving and/or for the purpose of attending off-site meetings, training and travel between CDA offices.
  • Proficient use of office equipment, such as adding machines, calculators, scanners, copy and fax machines, phone system and file cabinets in a safe manner; effective use of Microsoft Office, Adobe, human resources/payroll systems, and any other system for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday—Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Office/Remote (hybrid) options available after training has been completed.
