Hybrid Janitor presso Waters Edge Lodge

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a part-time janitor. 

The Janitor performs a combination of cleaning duties to maintain the public and communal areas of the assisted living facility in a clean and orderly manner. Maintaining a clean building is the first step in keeping our residents healthy and promoting a high quality of life for the seniors that live with us.

Pay Rate- $19.00 per hour

Shift is 10:30am - 7 pm

The part-time position works a 2-on, 4-off rotation - additional days will be available for vacation coverage and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Clean using a combination of vacuuming, buffing floors, dusting, mopping, and shampooing/steaming carpets
• Clean and service restrooms
• Dust and polish walls and other surfaces
• Empty garbage, compost, and recycling to the appropriate dumpsters
• Moving dumpsters in and out for garbage pick up days
• Wash, fold, and steam laundry
• Assist with the moving of furniture and equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & DOJ
• Physical ability to perform job duties including 100 pound push/pull and 50 pound lift/carry
