Job Description
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required. College degree a plus.
Six months of customer service experience required; cash handling/banking experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
Must convey a professional demeanor and successfully engage with all department levels.
Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Essential Functions:
Assist Relationship Managers with product service recommendations for personal and business customers, both new and existing. (i.e., checking and savings accounts, online banking services, credit cards etc.)
Provide general customer support for Private Banking Relationship Managers, such as research inquiries regarding overdrafts, transfers, service charges, online banking support and account performance.
Handle customer service issues regarding products and services and escalate to branch management and/or the assigned Relationship Manager when necessary.
Maintain a working knowledge of all personal and business products and services, including any updates.
Complete supporting documentation and data input on accounts to ensure that the regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.
Provide general customer support for our consumer online system and mobile application.
Maintain effective communication with Private Banking departments, other Asset Divisions, Operations (Wire/Treasury Management Operations/Account Sales & Service/Legal) and Branch Support Groups.
Perform routine daily teller and customer service transactions (deposits, transfers, loan payments, new account openings, data entry for consumer loans, etc.).
Perform administrative functions such as typing, composing letters, answering phones, filing, compiling data for reporting purposes and maintaining certain Private Banking Center records and logs.
All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
