Job Description: Provides professional primary nursing care to ante partum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecological patients; medical/surgical overflow patients; and orthopedic patients.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.
- BLS certification.
- CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
- NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic specific training within 1 year of hire.
- Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to newborn and adult, and orthopedic patients.
Preferred: BSN, MSN, National Board Certification in Clinical area of Specialty.
Experience: No experience required. Given training an on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
Weekender Shifts/Schedule
Full-time Weekender must work 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per week (Fri, Sat, Sun ~OR~ Sat, Sun, Mon)
All-Inclusive Weekend Differential*: $17.50 per hour for day shift OR $25.00 per hour for night shift
* Only paid for weekend shifts as defined above.
Holiday (worked): Compensation for holiday hours worked will follow the CRHS current holiday pay policy.
Additional Criteria and Guidelines
- Teammates must sign a one-year agreement.
- Teammates will be eligible for benefits based on status and will accrue PTO based on hospital policy.
- Teammates will be eligible for one weekend off per quarter but cannot request holiday weekends off.
- Hours/Days worked outside of those designated as eligible for Weekender accelerated differential will be paid at the normal shift differential(s) for the position.
- CRHS reserves the right to revoke or change the terms of this program with 30 days’ notice.
