Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:

This position is a working supervisor of a small crew consisting of 1-2 subordinates and is responsible for providing construction, maintenance and related service activities for public streets, public rights-of-way, and other city property, specifically those in the “Central Business District”, aka Downtown Greensboro. This position reports to the Crew Coordinator and is accountable for the planning, organizing, and reporting of all assigned projects.

Minimum Qualifications

What You Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with 1-3 years of experience operating various pieces of small engine equipment, vehicles, and light machinery
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License “OR” ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• NC Pesticide Applicator’s License “OR” ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
