Position Summary

The Project Lead will oversee end-to-end data pipeline delivery, manage a team of engineers and analysts, and ensure adherence to Eisai Japan’s commercial data modernization objectives. This role is critical in orchestrating high-quality data engineering practices with governance adherence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines on Databricks and Informatica.
  • Oversee data quality, lineage, metadata, and documentation efforts.
  • Serve as a technical SME for commercial pharma datasets, especially Japan-specific.
  • Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding and delivery best practices.
  • Coordinate with BAs and PMs for alignment of business priorities with tech delivery.

Education

BE/B.Tech
Master of Computer Application

Work Experience

  • 7–9 years of experience in data engineering, with 2–3 years in a lead capacity.
  • Experience working with Japan pharma data systems or commercial operations.
  • Deep understanding of Informatica IDMC, Databricks, PySpark, SQL.
  • Hands-on with DevOps, CI/CD for data workflows.
  • Experience managing sprint backlogs, delivery tracking, and JIRA.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Japanese data standards and KPIs.
  • Prior customer-facing experience in global projects.
