Job Title: Recruiter
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Department: Human Resources
Job Summary:
Responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for all positions within the company at all locations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and build a strong talent pipeline
- Create and post job descriptions on various platforms
- Source candidates through databases, social media, and networking
- Screen resumes and applications
- Conduct phone interviews and reference checks
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams
- Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Manage the recruitment process through onboarding for new hires
- Maintain applicant tracking spreadsheet and provide regular hiring reports
- Track recruiting costs
- Stay up to date with hiring trends, recruiting techniques, and labor laws
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing
- Frequent travel (3-4 times per month on average) to other locations
- Assist HR Manager with processes and administrative tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
- High energy and outgoing personality
- Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
- Working knowledge of company software and procedures
- Great attitude and ability to work with others
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Work full-time, onsite daily with travel to other locations as required
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or HR certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an in-house recruiter for manufacturing
