Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Parts Manager to lead our dealership's Parts Department. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, coordinate parts delivery, and support both internal service teams and external customers. This role demands a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and a solid understanding of automotive parts systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely ordering of parts to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory audits.
- Lead, train, and supervise parts advisors and drivers. Set clear performance expectations and ensure adherence to dealership standards.
- Drive department sales by promoting upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Collaborate with service and sales departments to optimize parts flow.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and product availability.
- Manage and oversee the entire parts ordering process, including special orders and daily restocking. Coordinate efficient delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage the department budget, track performance metrics, and analyze sales trends to forecast demand and improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards across all parts department activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in an automotive parts environment.
- Prior supervisory or management experience within a dealership or auto parts setting.
- Deep knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and repair processes.
- Familiarity with parts cataloging tools, dealership management systems (DMS), and inventory management software.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an automotive parts environment
