We are looking for a dynamic individual that will serve as the Radiology Office Manager. This newly created important role will be joined by creative and hard-working multi-modality imaging teams to take the lead with the following tasks:
- Makes Customer Service a priority, treating customers (patients, visitors, and coworkers) in a professional manner exercising courtesy and tact. Effectively communicates with patients and others about SBH services in their area(s) of expertise or responsibility and ensures that concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion.
- Performs supervision of all clerical/registrar personnel and performs those duties when necessary.
- Orders department supplies as needed and helps departmental personnel to do the same.
- Enters purchase requests for capital equipment and service agreements via Oracle system.
- Handles all aspects of breast care coordination for patients requiring breast procedures, including contacting physician, scheduling biopsy appropriates and arrange for follow up care. Maintains accurate statistics and data needed for annual inspections for both mammography department and mobile mammography program.
- Keeps records of employees file to include annual health assessment, performance evaluations, etc. in organized fashion.
- Serves as an ancillary support for the radiology services responsible for organizing employees performance evaluations; Healthstream mandatory education completion; Annual Health Assessment; N95 mask fitting; Staff schedule and vacation requests; and other administrative support.
- Attends departmental and radiation safety committee meetings, takes minutes and maintains appropriate records.
- Coordinates with managers and supervisors with accurate review and collating E-time attendance records and approval.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed by department head/supervisors, etc. and relevant to the performance of duties.
