Job Summary

 

As an Email Marketing Specialist at O.C. Tanner, you’ll contribute to the strategy, execution, and performance of our email marketing programs. Your role will focus on helping create engaging email journeys, driving lead nurture and customer engagement, and optimizing email performance through A/B testing, segmentation, and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, and content to ensure email plays a strategic role in our demand generation and customer experience efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution: Develop and deploy targeted email campaigns across the buyer and customer journey, including newsletters, promotional emails, product education, nurture streams, and event invitations.
  • Segmentation and Personalization: Build and maintain dynamic audience segments and tailor messaging to specific user groups based on behavior, demographics, and funnel stage.
  • A/B Testing: Lead A/B and multivariate testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, send times, and layouts to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use marketing automation platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics) to track performance metrics, assess ROI, and inform future campaigns.
  • Email Design and UX: Collaborate with designers and copywriters to create responsive, user-friendly email templates that follow UX best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure email communications adhere to best practices and legal regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Collaboration: Partner with content, product, web, and sales teams to align email campaigns with broader go-to-market strategies and user experience goals.
