Job Title: Overnight Valet/Van Driver Shuttle

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Overnight Valet/Van Driver Shuttle to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the safe of the hotel and efficient transportation of vehicles and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

- Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely and safe manner.

- Operate shuttle vans to transport guests to and from designated locations, mainly airport.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicles.

- Assist guests with luggage and other needs as required.

- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations.

- Communicate effectively with team members and management.

- Patrol hotel property and fill out hotel incident reports when needed. 

- Assist when safety issues occurs in the hotel by guest or employee. 

- Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.

- Obtains assistance for accident victims and writes accident reports.

- Notifies staff of presence of persons with questionable reputation.

- Assists in emergency situations; such as evacuations.

- Reviews departmental log records and is familiar with pertinent information relevant to the daily shift.

- Work with outside agencies (i.e. police) cooperatively and follow established hotel procedures.

- Investigate all alarms either duress or fire.

- Resolve all safety hazard situations.

- Respond to the scene of guest/employee accidents promptly, communicate specified information, and follow up with departmental management.

- Ensure that all guest rooms, meeting rooms and administrative offices are secured.

- Reports to the scene of all thefts and documentation of lost and found specified information.

- Maintain the confidentiality of all safety and hotel reports/documents.

- Promote positive relations with all guests and employees.

Complete all paperwork prior to leaving the hotel for the day unless permission has been given to complete the report at a later time.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Must be 25 years of age for Insurances requirement.

Experience:

• Prior experience in valet, shuttle driving, or a similar hospitality role preferred. 

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience in valet or transportation services preferred.

- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude to provide outstanding guest service. 

- Ability to have flexible schedule to work overnight shifts, including weekends, and holidays.

- Physical ability to lift luggage and stand for extended periods. 

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance.
