Daintta are a rapidly growing, values-driven team of specialists who work with government clients across Cyber Security, National Security, Law Enforcement and Telecommunications. We are seeking a talented and motivated Solution Architect to join our team and contribute to our mission of protecting the UK by developing novel solutions to unique challenges. As a Solution Architect (manager grade), you will work closely with our public sector clients and project teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet our clients’ specialised requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Facilitate workshops and meetings such as risk analysis, pre-mortems, technical design workshops, requirements elicitation
- Design and plan the whole lifecycle approach for complex projects and programmes
- Train and advise clients in Solutions Architecture best practice
- Organise and coordinate internal technical resources and third parties/vendors for effective delivery of projects, including delivery assurance and integration, within scope and budget, and with managed risk
- Deliver and manage high quality Solution Architecture documentation
- Prepare presentations and reports, and present them to senior management as needed
- Build and maintain strong relations with clients and key stakeholders
- Analyse, manage, mitigate and treat risks to reduce impact on a project
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation
- Provide expert input to bids and proposals, scoping future work and helping to grow the business
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues and clients, sharing knowledge and experience
Skills/Knowledge
The role requires the following key skills / knowledge, non-exhaustively:
- Degree level educated, or significant relevant experience
- Experience of working as an engineer within IT, infrastructure, networking, systems or a related field
- Capable of managing complexity to deliver high quality work
- Experience of working in a consultancy, systems integrator or public sector organisation delivering complex products and services
- Experience desirable in delivering projects as an engineer to defence, public sector, national security or law enforcement organisations
- Good understanding of common tools, standards, techniques and methodologies for delivering systems and solutions, including modern deployment models (e.g. CI/CD, agile development, etc)
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Outstanding organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Location
Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from Daintta office (London/Cheltenham) or on client site as required.
