Job Description:

Business Development Manager, Distribution

  • Manage and develop existing partnerships as well as identifying new business partners and opportunities.

  • Understand who are our High Net Worth (HNW) distributors and how to support them in order to facilitate the sales and distribution of our Affluent, HNW & UHNW insurance solutions.

  • Drive sales activity management through intermediaries and collaborate closely with internal functions (Underwriting, Operations, Pricing) to provide a 'best in class' experience.

  • Conceptualize and develop impactful events, campaigns and propositions so as to position Sun Life Singapore as the leading Affluent, HNW & UHNW insurer.

  • Support the development of innovative products by providing insights on competitors product solutions, industry trends and analyze business mix to create meaningful narratives to support new product ideation, improvements and/or to spot business opportunities

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Independent & proactive, able to work in a lean team and collaborate with others when required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Creative, good judgment and excellent attention to details

  • Intermediate skills in Excel & Power-point

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in life insurance preferably in client-facing or sales management roles.

  • Experience in insurance, bank, asset management or financial services industry advantageous
