Capital Ford Lincoln is looking for a Shop Foreman / Lead Technician to lead by example, provide technical support, and help drive the success of our service team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example – Perform diagnostics and assist with repairs alongside your team.

  • Supervise Technicians – Support workflow management and ensure quality control.

  • Be the Technical Expert – Serve as the go-to person for advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.

  • Drive Shop Efficiency – Minimize comebacks, downtime, and delays.

  • Maintain Quality Standards – Inspect completed work and uphold safety and accuracy.

  • Communicate Effectively – Act as the bridge between technicians, advisors, and management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced Diagnostic Abilities across multiple vehicle systems.

  • Leadership & Mentorship – Support, coach, and develop technicians at all skill levels.

  • Time Management – Balance hands-on work with supervisory duties.

  • Problem Solving – Maintain a calm, solutions-first approach under pressure.

  • Strong Attention to Detail – Ensure quality in both your work and the team’s.

  • Clear Communicator – Collaborate efficiently with advisors and managers.

  • Certifications - Journeyman Certificate

  • Support Team Growth – Assist in training and onboarding of junior or new techs.
