Job Title

Regional Manager, UK/Europe

ROLE PURPOSE

Oversee and manage the regional sales performance Europe. This involves delivering robust sales and marketing plans, effective customer centric operational excellence and identifying new business opportunities to achieve the revenue target.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

  1. Sales Strategic Planning includes the implementation of sales strategies to achieve the overall Europe sales performance target with prudent cost control
  2. Provide strong leadership & support in the development, implementation and benefit realization of the region’s business plans & strategies in order to maximize revenue.
  3. Improve sales channel through the implementation of various initiatives to drive efficiency with travel trade partners and various tourism boards and stakeholders.
  4. Monitor, analyze and review the region’s sales performance, routes, results and industry performance indicators to ensure any performance gaps are rectified in a timely and effective manner
  5. Consistently optimize sales revenue by driving & monitoring the route marketing, inventory & competitive pricing strategy that contributes to the improvement in routes profitability, yield and loads
  6. Coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as industry & trade partners across all channels to support the regional sales team to meeting business objectives
  7. To lead and coach team members within the region to ensure actions plans are executed effectively and seamlessly.
  8. Developing new markets to support overall growth in revenue for the network

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in business related discipline from an accredited university. Candidates with post graduate degree (PhD, MBA & MSc) will be advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years in the airline industry, or
  • Minimum 8-10 years in airline sales commercial activities
  • Minimum 3 years in station management
