OVERVIEW
As the Senior Manager of Production, this role will lead Alo’s growing Beauty & Wellness business in all areas of Production. In this leadership role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to create and deliver innovative products that meet consumer needs while upholding our brand values. This role will drive processes to support domestic and international growth. This individual must have a sense of urgency, be solution-oriented, and highly organized.
Responsibilities:
Production & Supply Chain Management
- Partner with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure ethical and sustainable production practices.
- Oversee the full production lifecycle, from lab scale-up to commercial runs, ensuring on-time delivery and clean manufacturing standards.
- Partner with Planning on annual and seasonal Forecasting to effectively plan capacity
- Manage supply planning by staging components and raw materials in support of speed models
- Create and own production timelines/processes that support business strategies and adheres to GPMC guidelines/protocols
- WIP Management
- Assess risk and resolve issues effectively, while maintaining product quality, compliance and on time delivery
- Build and strengthen vendor relationships
- Collaborate with Product Development, Director of Beauty & Wellness and Product Integrity to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements, including labeling, testing and packaging (domestically and globally)
- Ensure that manufacturing agreements and QA standards are upheld and enforced
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Sustainability, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in product development or production within the clean beauty, skincare, or wellness sectors.
- Strong understanding of clean ingredient formulations, safety standards, and green chemistry principles.
- Experience working with third-party clean certification partners or frameworks
- Familiarity with regulatory standards across global markets, especially those related to clean beauty (US, EU, Canada, Korea, China).
- Exceptional project management skills and ability to lead multiple product launches in parallel.
- Values-driven, innovative, and deeply passionate about clean beauty and holistic wellness.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, including confidence in facilitating cross-functional alignment and participating in Executive meetings.
- Self-motivated to ideate and implement new ways of process building and problem solving
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to create maximum value out of limited resources
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in navigating ambiguous situations
- Sense of urgency with the ability to make decisions without complete information

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 -145,000K per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
