Salary Range: $99606 - $129494 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Senior Electronics Technician in the Range Management & Operations Support Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Major Duties:

  • You will prepare, operate, and maintain Undersea Warfare Range Systems and associated support equipment.
  • You will provide input to Division and Branch supervision for administrative matters.
  • You will operate unique computer programs and will solve electronic, mechanical, logistic, and scheduling problems.
  • You will install, use and troubleshoot Rockwell Collins, Harris, Motorola and Kenwood radios and related systems.
  • You will maintain and improve technical competencies on assigned range system.
  • You will provide team leadership on multiple system operations.
  • You will interpret engineering test plans, maintain technical competency and qualification, and apply skills on ranges of orders.
  • You will be required to identify rapidly changing needs and make effective and efficient decisions to meet requirements.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector installing, using, troubleshooting, and repairing established or state-of-the-art electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, electro-hydraulic, or acoustic systems in a marine environment.
