Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts for hardware validation using Python
- Analyze test data and results, identify anomalies and provide fixes
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the automation framework and test scripts to ensure consistent and reliable validation results
- Document automation user guidelines, procedures, equipment configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions to automate the validation process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the automation process
- Up to 30% travel as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of work experience in the software developments or android developments
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in scripting and test automation
- Experience in python based SQL/OOP
- Experience in source control tool, git or svn
- Familiarity with test methodologies and validation processes
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Good oral and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of work experience in the embedded software developments
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
- Previous experience in validation and testing of electronic hardware
- Experience of working with Android/iOS devices, embedded systems and software
- Experience in ARM based software development, MCU Firmware, Linux shell script
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, pandas)
- Proficiency in PyVISA for controlling and communicating with various test instruments and equipments
- Knowledge of electronics and instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads
