Accountabilities

  • Play key role in closing and reporting for assigned legal entities and branches with more focus of PAM entity and branches and JBS entity
  • Prepare complicated and ad-hoc adjustment entries
  • Review statutory reports and filings
  • Review balance account reconciliation and resolve unreconciled/long open items
  • Liaise with internal/external auditors for group and statutory audits
  • Review VAT filing and other indirect tax filing, prepare CIT fling and handle tax queries
  • Work with treasury to guide team members to manage routine bank administration, oversea settlement and cash management
  • Pay key role to coordinate with finance operation team in share service center and other finance functions & business locally on issue resolution and finance operational process improvement.
  • Act as Greater China controllership SME role for one business segment
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, Certified Public Accountant, or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
  • Preferably 8-10 years of working experience with exposure in MNC or audit experience with Big 4.
  • Strong Excel skills and good learning capabilities to apply new technologies in routine works, i.e. Power BI, Chatgpt
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast paced and change environment.
  • Team player to work and collaborate with colleagues in other locations efficiently
  • Experience to lead small team with team size of 2-3 members
  • Experience with US GAAP a big plus
  • OneStream, PeopleSoft or a large-scale ERP financial systems experience a plus
