Private grant reconciliation analyst to perform day to day task facilitating transactions, use excel on a daily basis, and communicate effectively with finance, grantors, etc. This job is not a remote position.

Essential Duties:

  • Financial reporting for private grants, budget monitoring, and working with faculty and other campus personnel to ensure compliance with financial and grant requirements
  • Researches and analyzes data, develops or revise processes or policies based on research, and submits prepared report findings to supervisor
  • Develops and maintains databases, spreadsheets, and other fiscal reporting mechanisms, reviews, and audits fiscal information for accuracy and quality assurance
  • Posts transactions to journals and/or ledgers, balances entries, and reconciles errors manually or electronically
  • Monthly reconciliation meetings with private grant directors regarding data pulled in Workday system
  • Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Rate of Pay: $41,107 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • Two years experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years experience in a financial setting
  • Associates degree in related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Workday Finance System analysis and design
  • Proficiency with use of spreadsheets to create reports for analysis; (i.e. Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas
  • Ability to prepare periodic and special reports
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
