Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our print company. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing engaging and innovative designs for a variety of print products, ensuring high quality and adherence to brand guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities:
- As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate.
- Create visually appealing designs for print materials including signs, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and more.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand design requirements, objectives, and preferences.
- Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with client expectations and company brand guidelines.
- Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite,) to design and refine artwork.
- Prepare final designs for print production, ensuring files are correctly formatted and suitable for printing.
- Review proofs and mock-ups for accuracy and quality before final production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and software updates to continually improve skills and knowledge.
- Assist in maintaining digital asset management and organizing design files.
- You will work closely with team members to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product.
- Prepare files, included adding bleeds, crop marks, die-lines, hole locations, and other finishing file layers as required, archiving files upon completion for future use.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in print design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites is required. Knowledge or experience in Onyx Thrive is preferred.
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and print production processes.
- Ability to interpret client needs and develop creative concepts that effectively communicate the desired message.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
