SUMMARY:
Student Lifecycle Systems Implementation Specialist is responsible for support and assistance in the successful implementation of student information systems across multiple schools in the USA West Coast Region. This role will coordinate with the Regional Student Lifecycle Manager and school administrators, to ensure the MIS solution is deployed effectively. The specialist will also assist in providing training and ongoing support to stakeholders to ensure seamless usage and integration of the system.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management Assistance:
o Assist in the implementation of the MIS platform across schools within the region.
o Support project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure the project stays on track.
o Help coordinate between internal teams and school stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with school administrators, IT teams, and key stakeholders to assist in gathering requirements and ensure the MIS and integrated systems meet local needs.
o Ensure all stakeholders are informed about project status, milestones, and any changes that might impact the project.
Training and Support:
o Assist in providing hands-on training to school staff, administrators, and teachers on the new system, ensuring they understand how to utilize its full capabilities.
o Contribute to developing user guides, training materials, and FAQs to support end-users.
o Offer post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and responding to technical issues.
Continuous Improvement:
o Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continually improve the MIS and address any functionality gaps.
o Monitor system performance and user satisfaction post-implementation to recommend to the Regional Student Lifecycle Systems Manager implementation improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
o Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of experience in educational technology support.
o Experience working in K-12 or higher education institutions is highly desirable.
o Familiarity with MIS platforms such as iSams, Blackbaud, PowerSchool or similar systems.
Skills:
o Project management skills with a focus on technology.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including educators and IT professionals.
o Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
