This is a role which is responsible for developing new commercial business. This role does not maintain a portfolio. Serve as a conduit for all product lines and match client needs with appropriate products. Always looking for cross selling opportunities for all bank products. Grow revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting new business and making appropriate referrals. Negotiate credit arrangements and prepare credit memoranda and supporting documentation for presentation to the loan committee. May serve as advisor to junior business development officers. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field 8+ years commercial lending or sales experience Demonstrates expert knowledge of credit and understanding of underwriting Demonstrates strong financial acumen Demonstrates ability to be self starter and show initiative Demonstrates strong communication skills (verbal & written) Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Demonstrates ability to manage time effectively to balance new & existing relationships to meet goals Demonstrates strong ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company
Compensation Range:
$99,750.00 - $214,370.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
