The Practice Director, Cloud & Agile Infrastructure is responsible for building and expanding our service offerings across public cloud platforms, leading infrastructure migration initiatives, and driving business development efforts to increase market share and client success. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and a passion for operational excellence.

 

 

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Practice Development & Leadership o Define the strategic vision, service roadmap, and long-term direction for the Cloud and Agile Infrastructure practice.
    • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of cloud professionals.
    • Drive internal alignment and team readiness for delivery excellence and innovation.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Security o Serve as the senior-most advisor and thought leader for cloud architecture, infrastructure migration, and infrastructure security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
    • Oversee cloud adoption frameworks, ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
    • Stay ahead of evolving technology trends and integrate emerging practices into service development.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Sales Enablement o Collaborate with sales and marketing to define and implement GTM strategies and campaign plans.
    • Support pre-sales initiatives, including customer briefings, proposals, and solutioning.
    • Build and manage strategic partnerships with major cloud providers and technology vendors.
  • Service Delivery & Client Engagement o Ensure successful delivery of all professional services engagements under the Cloud Infrastructure portfolio.
    • Serve as an executive escalation point for complex delivery issues.
    • Champion customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Business & Financial Accountability o Own the P&L for the Cloud and Agile Infrastructure practice.
    • Drive revenue growth, ensure profitability, and meet operational performance targets.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal leadership and stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • MBA or equivalent business leadership training preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications o Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    • Google Cloud Professional Architect
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent

Job-related Experience

  • Customarily has at least 15 years of IT infrastructure experience, with 7+ years specifically focused on cloud infrastructure and migration.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading a cloud-focused practice or business unit.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions leveraging public cloud technologies, including a deep understanding of Azure, along with AWS and GCP.
  • Experience driving go-to-market strategy and managing partner relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a practice-level P&L.

Work is performed primarily in a remote setting; final location may vary based on business needs. Role requires 25–50% travel. May be subject to time constraints and tight deadlines.

 

Salary Range

The anticipated base range for this role is $180,065-$214,874 with a median of $199,465. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role. This role is eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement contributions.
