CTG is seeking to fill a Sr Consultant - Platforms (SFMC) opening for our client in Bolingbrook, IL.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months

 

Duties:

  • Support the development, configuration, and troubleshooting of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) implementations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SFMC, providing guidance on email campaigns, automation solutions, and data model best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to emails, journeys, automations, and data integrations within SFMC.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure seamless platform operation and campaign execution.

  • Monitor system health and performance of journeys and automations, and proactively identify and resolve errors or bottlenecks.

  • Assist in the creation and review of SFMC assets such as HTML emails, AMPScript, SQL queries, and custom journeys.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SFMC features and modules.

  • Proficiency in email development and troubleshooting: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPScript, personalization strings, Content Builder.

  • Expertise in Journey Builder and Automation Studio, including automation management, API initiation, and error handling.

  • Solid knowledge of SFMC’s data model, subscriber key management, Data Extensions, and integrations via SFTP or APIs.

  • Ability to analyze tracking data and email performance reports to inform recommendations and improvements.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Demonstrated success with implementing and supporting SFMC solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Certifications:

  • Required: Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator or Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.

  • Preferred: Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85.00/hour to $100.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
