What You’ll Be Doing
The Frontend Angular Engineer is responsible for creating, testing, maintaining, and improving the user interface of BeatStars’ web applications. This role will be a critical role in building our user interface experience ensuring a best-in-class user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Angular 13 (and greater) based UI
- Work closely with UX designers, project managers, and back-end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to web development issues.
- Collaborate with development and business requirements team members in an agile environment
- Work with a remote distributed team
- Manage your time and work well independently and as part of a team.
- Perform code reviews
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Based on EST zone to work effectively with team members in Europe
- 5+ years of JavaScript/Typescript development using Angular.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and AJAX
- Experience with CSS extension languages such as Sass, SCSS, Stylus, LESS
- Experience with and passion for user-interface design.
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with modern SCM (preferably Git)
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Prior platform development experience (metadata-driven UI) is a big plus
- Cloud-based (AWS) based development experience is a plus

Compensation:
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles only) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE is just one component of our total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for additional benefits and perks BeatStars has to offer.
Remote Canadian salary range for this role is $130,000-165,000 CAD.
