About the job

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting, closing, and maintaining customers in your region or assigned segment. You will be seeking new opportunities for electrical vehicle chargers, backup battery power, and other related products.

This role will be a key contributor to Star Charge’s growth so we are looking for people who are easy to work with, have a passion for EV, and who can grow relationships with customers of all sizes.

Your main responsibilities

  • Generate leads, develop new business opportunities, and grow accounts.
  • Follow up with customers, maintain good relationships.
  • Call/email/roadmap reviews, forecast and create various reports.
  • Send quotes, receive POs, follow up on production schedule, coordinate with logistics team to provide accurate information to customer, review service issues and coordinate with service team for speedy resolutions.
  • RFQs, RFIs, administrative tasks such as reviewing contracts, MNDAs, sending documents.
  • Lead special projects along with other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Able to communicate with colleagues in other countries using English
  • Previous sales experience in EV Charging industry is a big plus
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a diverse team or independently in complex situations
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer meeting, trade shows, and corporate meetings
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
