We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (Project Support Specialist) to aid in the collection and transformation of business requirements into technical requirements, support the development of training and knowledge-sharing content for agency customers, and provide overall project management support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data product development and experience working within Agile environments.

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (Project Support Specialist) to aid in the collection and transformation of business requirements into technical requirements, support the development of training and knowledge-sharing content for agency customers, and provide overall project management support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data product development and experience working within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, document, and transform business requirements into detailed technical requirements for data product development.
- Support the development and delivery of training content and other knowledge-sharing resources for agency customers, focusing on data product usage and best practices.
- Provide project management support, utilizing IT project management methods to ensure the timely and successful delivery of data products.
- Work closely with Agile teams to iteratively develop and deliver data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Capture and communicate technical requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across the team.
- Assist in managing project documentation, including user stories, product backlog items, and technical specifications.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data product development, such as working as a data analyst, data visualization developer, data engineer, or data scientist.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Technical Skills: Proficient in capturing and clearly communicating technical requirements.
- Agile Expertise: Experience working in an Agile environment, contributing to iterative development and delivery processes.
- Project Management: Familiarity with IT project management methods and best practices.
- Certification: Active Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Agile Leadership, Certified Agile Coach, Scrum with Kanban, SAFe Agile) required at the start of performance.
- Preferred Skills: Experience using Power BI to structure data and develop interactive visualizations is recommended but not required.
