About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Creative Project Manager to join their Marketing team, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to final execution and delivery. This role requires developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external departments to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will manage creative resources, collaborate closely with design teams, and maintain up-to-date dashboards on Asana. They will also act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project objectives.


Duties/Responsibilities

Project Management

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from conception to completion.

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within marketing, and occasionally external departments, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

- Monitor project progress and identify/address any issues or risks that may arise during the project lifecycle.

- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or feedback.


Creative Resource Management

- Identify project resource requirements and allocate creative resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of projects.

- Collaborate with the design team to assess resource availability and capacity, and adjust resource allocations as needed to meet project demands.

- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the skills, strengths, and availability of creative team members to facilitate resource allocation decisions.

- Provide guidance and support to creative teams to optimize their productivity and ensure the quality of their work.

- Create and monitor dashboards on Asana to track project timelines and resources.


Stakeholder Collaboration

- Liaise with agents, internal teams, and vendors to gather project requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any issues or concerns.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners, to ensure alignment on project objectives and expectations.

- Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, and proactively communicate with them to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.


Required Skills/Abilities

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

- Prior experience working with design and marketing teams would be a plus.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Expert-level proficiency in Asana and Google Suite; bonus if you have familiarity with Figma.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.


Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in project management on a marketing team, with a focus on creative projects preferred.

- 3+ years of experience working with design teams and understanding of design processes.

Compensation

- $80K – $90K
