About the job

Your career is an investment that grows over time!

Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing, opaque and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with over 3 million users who trust us with more than $40 billion in assets.

Our teams ship often and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. We're looking for talented people who keep it simple and value collaboration and humility as we continue to create inclusive and high-performing teams where people can be inspired to do their best work.

We’re building the world’s most human financial company, using technology to scale the value we provide to our clients, and people to add value where only humans can. Sales at Wealthsimple is about serving our clients and helping a generation of Canadians reach their financial goals.

The primary focus of Sales Enablement is to empower our sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve exceptional results. As an Associate in Sales Enablement, you will play a critical role in ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the latest product knowledge, streamlined processes, and cutting-edge technologies. You will not only support our sales teams but also drive the overall success of our sales initiatives by ensuring our content and training programs are both effective and aligned with our business goals.

Today the financial services industry is an oligopoly dominated by five big banks. They charge high fees, and provide poor service to clients with less than $3M in net worth. Additionally over $2T in assets are in the Wealth Management sector and a large portion of these assets are investing with high fees and poor returns. We believe that it is time for something different for Canadians.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Be the trusted resource for product knowledge, ensuring the sales team stays informed and prepared with the most current information.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists to filter and provide relevant product content that improves sales effectiveness.
  • Develop, update, and manage essential sales support materials, such as scripts, FAQs, and product guides, keeping them accessible and aligned with the latest product updates.
  • Conduct regular assessments and quizzes to evaluate the sales team's knowledge and preparedness, ensuring everyone is well-prepared to meet their targets.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions and enhance the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between the sales team and other departments, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to succeed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, IT, and Operations, to align on enablement initiatives and maintain a smooth flow of information.
  • Explore and implement generative AI capabilities to enhance productivity and knowledge sharing within the sales team.

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

  • Content Development - Proven ability to create and manage sales content that is both informative and accessible.
  • Training — Comfortable developing and delivering training that engages and educates, enhancing the learning experience for all participants.

  • Collaboration — Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility — Can thrive in changing environments and is excited about contributing to innovation and bringing fresh ideas and approaches.
