About The Role

The Scaled Programs Partner Marketing team plays a critical role in driving partner-led pipeline through global campaigns. We’re looking for an experienced lifecycle marketer to join the team to lead the strategy and execution of global campaigns to accelerate the success of our global partner ecosystem by fostering adoption and engagement.

As the Lifecycle Manager, you’ll be responsible for leveraging communication channels (email, partner portals, etc.) to drive Shopify Partners through key activation stages. You’ll implement journeys, A/B test and conversion rate optimizations to drive measurable growth against partner KPIs. You’ll also obsess about the partner lifecycle, conducting analyses to better understand the partner lifecycle and areas for growth.

This role requires you to be an excellent lifecycle marketer, with demonstrated ability to identify and focus on high-leverage priority initiatives.The ideal candidate has a track record of building and driving adoption and engagement through lifecycle campaigns with laser focus on driving impactful commercial outcomes. You are passionate about building and executing programs and campaigns that are data-driven and add value for partners and merchants alike. You are detail-oriented and well organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple stakeholders towards a common goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the planning and implementation of global lifecycle campaigns for partners, which includes supporting full-funnel programs to move partners through activation states and drive revenue through increased adoption and engagement.
  • Collaborate with MarTech and BizOps teams to configure CRM database, enabling Partner, Sales and Marketing teams to collect and utilize critical data for nurture and targeted messages
  • Exhibit proficiency in data manipulation and work adeptly with relational databases to extract valuable marketing insights, perform in-depth data analysis, and inform data-driven marketing strategies
  • Execute communications for regional campaigns based on business need
  • Build emails using a mix of pre-built components, Liquid, and HTML where needed (experience building custom HTML emails from scratch strongly preferred)
  • Monitor the performance of existing campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional experts to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for new campaigns across all stages of the partner journey.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to propose innovative strategies and drive continuous improvements in lifecycle efforts.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-growth or startup environment, specifically within CRM, lifecycle, or loyalty marketing.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills and proficient in query languages, data visualization and analytics tools, including SQL, GraphQL, looker studio, google analytics, etc.
  • A strategic marketing mind with a solid understanding of multiple growth marketing channels.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading ambiguous, cross-functional projects in a highly matrixed environment, with the ability to navigate and coordinate with various teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Passionate about generating actionable insights from A/B tests and large unstructured datasets (intermediate-level knowledge of SQL required).
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
