eLearning Developer
Location: Remote, any USA location
Job description:
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced eLearning developer to join their operations team and support the production of new courseware conversion and development. The eLearning developer should have experience with industry grade development tools, image editing experience, and knowledge of xAPI and adding xAPI statements to content.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the operation team s manager and key personnel, and individually contribute to the production and success of the project.
- Use e-learning authoring software to create and maintain e-learning courseware that includes text, images, audio, video, animations, and documents.
- Creates authoring tool templates.
- Paces text content in course.
- Locate original image; edits approved images, creates new image, and places image in course.
- Design interactivity in course. Develops interactivity in course.
- Make changes requested by reviewers.
- Add xAPI statements, as needed, into eLearning content.
- Perform technical quality checks.
- Develop classroom and virtual classroom materials including PowerPoints, documents, and handouts. Participate in and contribute to project meetings to gather, analyze, and discuss project requirements, ideas, and issues.
- Produce work products that align with client needs, project standards, and contract requirements.
- Test work products, troubleshoot, and remedy issues in a timely manner.
- Estimate level of effort and timelines and complete project assignments within allotted budgets. Proactively communicates risks to project leadership and contribute to risk mitigation planning.
- Stay updated with the latest design technology and techniques and contribute to best practices and standards for learning materials development.
- Work with team members in a collaborative environment.
- 3 years experience as an eLearning developer.
- Experience with eLearning development tools (desired DominKnow ONE).
- Experience with image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with xAPI data standards and adding xAPI statements into eLearning content.
