Incendium Consulting Ltd is a 10 year young, thriving consulting business, supporting corporate clients across all industries with their real estate and facilities transformation projects.


Within Incendium Consulting, we have 3 main practice areas:


  • Target Operating Model and Procurement
  • Sustainability
  • Strategy and change


We currently have c90 resources on client projects, split equally between employed and contractor and are looking to further expand our pool of trusted experts (preferably as full-time employees but we are very happy to discuss contracting too) to serve client needs.

The Role


Incendium is seeking an Associate Director to join the Sustainability team in the growing Americas & APAC practice.

What will you be doing?


  • Support in the design, development and execution of the global sustainability and net zero strategy alongside our clients
  • Be responsible for setting regional goals & KPIs and track progress
  • Lead aspects of delivery of initiatives relating to environmental sustainability, and collaborating with various teams including facilities management, design & construction, workplace managers, transactions and compliance. Topics can range from:
  • Building certifications – LEED/BREEAM/ILFI net zero
  • Energy & water efficiency
  • Waste programs
  • Sustainable fitouts
  • Sustainable transportation
  • Supply chain
  • Leases and site selection
  • EU legislation
  • GHG data reporting
  • Environmental management systems
  • Ability to explore new and innovative technologies and processes to deliver energy conservation and decarbonisation and pilot projects
  • Collaborating with and influencing internal teams to help drive change across the relevant functions of the business
  • Assist in developing leading practice, market insights and emerging trends in all aspects of sustainability
  • Assist both Incendium and client comms teams to create content and communication strategies that drive education and engagement across sectors
  • Work within Incendium and Instant to integrate sustainability into the wider advisory and delivery service lines
  • When required, manage junior members of the Incendium team



Who are we looking for?


  • Proven track record in corporate sustainability with strong general sustainability knowledge
  • Passionate about sustainability and making a real impact
  • Ability see things strategically, and drive strategy in an aligned way
  • Experience in managing projects, programs at a local and regional level and has capability to scale and run these at a global level
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritise in a complex, fast paced environment.
  • Being able to deal with change quickly and going with the flow in consensus of the wider group
  • Strong interaction with people and can establish relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborative, hands on approach, getting involved, leading but also being able to listen to group consensus.
  • Excellent team-working, and ability to mentor, manage and inspire your colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with a client whilst ensuring engagement within wider Incendium business
  • Excellent computer and information system skills; in particular various data management systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
