We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Outbound Marketer to join our marketing and sales team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this person will focus on generating and nurturing leads through direct engagement and outbound marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is outgoing, ambitious, and possesses the ability to take initiative while being adaptable and technically savvy. A background in the technology sector is essential to understand and effectively market our highly technical product that caters to developers.


Responsibilities:


ABM Marketing:

  • Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to target high-value prospects and tailor campaigns to specific accounts.


Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and target potential customers through various outbound channels, including marketing/email campaigns and social media outreach.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.


Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide qualified leads and support sales initiatives.


Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential customers through personalized communication and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and prospects, ensuring a seamless transition from initial contact to sales engagement.


Field Marketing & Engagement:

  • Plan and execute field marketing activities such as trade shows, events, and customer meetings to generate leads and promote brand awareness.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking with potential clients to build a robust sales pipeline.


Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance metrics and prepare regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes.
  • Utilize Hubspot/Pipedrive to manage and update prospect information and track interactions.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outbound marketing, sales development, or field marketing.
  • Experience in the technology sector, with an understanding of technical products catering to developers.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and nurturing through outbound efforts (including cold outreach).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and marketing automation tools (Hubspot, Pipedrive would be an asset).
  • Ability to travel outside of Canada as needed for field marketing activities and events.
